Chloe Lenihan’s comprehensive skills on both sides of the camera lens reflect her passion for storytelling and the filmmaking process. Having begun her career as a child actor, Chloe has matured into a tenacious filmmaker coupling the boundless enthusiasm of her youth with the grace that comes from experience.
Chloe worked for the Academy-Award winning GK Films (on films like The Departed, The Aviator, Blood Diamond, The Young Victoria), balancing work in both Creative Development and Business & Legal Affairs. After studying acting under Bill Esper at the William Esper Studio in NYC, she co-founded Buds of May Productions, developing content for the stage and screen. Her directorial debut, Red Dot, has screened at domestic and international film festivals.
Chloe joined the Screen Actors Guild in 1989, appearing in national television programs, commercials and modeling campaigns. She is currently an MFA candidate in Creative Producing at Columbia University, School of the Arts. Chloe is a student member of the National Board of Review and the 2013-2014 recipient of the New York Women in Film & Television scholarship.
